Early-access preview — last updated 2026-04-16

Plain-language summary: MAAD Brain is an early-access preview operated on a best-effort basis. It may break, lose data, or change without notice. Use it at your own risk and keep a backup of anything you cannot afford to lose.

The service

MAAD Brain gives you a personal, Markdown-backed memory store that MCP-compatible AI agents can read and write. You sign in with OAuth, we provision a brain for you, and we issue bearer tokens you point your agents at.

Acceptable use

  • One account per person. Do not share your bearer tokens.
  • Do not store content that is unlawful where you live, targets a real person with abuse, or contains credentials you do not own.
  • Do not attempt to access another user's brain, probe the platform for vulnerabilities without coordinating with us, or intentionally exhaust shared resources.
  • We apply a 100 requests per minute per token rate limit. Clients exceeding this will receive HTTP 429.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We do not promise uptime, durability, backup success, or fit for any particular purpose. During early access, breaking changes and downtime are expected.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the last twelve months. For free early-access users, that amount is zero.

Your content

You own everything you write into your brain. You grant us a non-exclusive license to store, copy, and transmit it only for the purpose of operating the service for you. We do not use your brain content to train models.

Termination

You can stop using the service at any time and request deletion via luis@patchnet.ai. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate acceptable use, or shut down the preview entirely with reasonable notice.

Changes

We will post changes to these terms on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
